I checked the resources\sound3(FOLDERS GOES HERE), and all the folders are EMPTY. I have not done any tests with older / newer versions, but this issue seems to be unrelated to the 1.6.x problem of the launcher incorrectly placing sound files. no clicking sounds, no ambient, sounds nothing. ![]() I run tests with all available alternatives of launching VANILLA 1.5.2 in Windows (The Native launcher, the Java Launcher, and even did some digging up on the super-old original launcher, before the current java one.) All 1.5.2 versions have no sounds. I have absolutely no sounds whatsoever from the vanilla minecraft, only modded sounds work, such as custom sounds for custom mod blocks added in by said mods. Before addressing the problem directly : I have searched around, and it seems to me that the problem lies on the downloads server, not permitting download, or perhaps the file that was supposed to be downloaded was non-existent.
